There are a couple of ways your customers can use wristbands to pay for their goods and services. The credit card they have on file can then be charged at the end of the night or the end of their stay.

Hey, this is Tim with Bepoz point of sale systems for campgrounds and RV parks. In this video, we’re going to talk about a little bit of a unique feature. This feature is called upon by several RV parks for us and it’s the ability to make payments around the RV park or campground using wristbands.

This wristband payment could take multiple forms. This is oftentimes in a situation where we have guests that are very active during the day and they don’t want to carry around cards. Oftentimes, they have poolside and they’re in swimsuits or whatever and they don’t want to be carrying around something. 

So what they do at several of these campgrounds is they put a wristband on the guest, and that wristband can be used as a form of payment around the RV park. This could be done with a child where the child has been given a certain number of dollars that they can spend around the RV park and it has some limit that the parent has set they’ve got twenty and they can spend it however they want during whatever period, and the parent could then go back and top it up afterward or it could be the parent and that parent is allowed to make a site charge using the wristband.

So that site charge is when they come up to the register to pay for whatever it is, it might be in the convenience store or in the restaurant or bar or whatever they have there, and they could scan the wristband and scanning the wristband would then pull up and validate the site that they’re staying in. They’re staying in site C5 and they could then charge to that site and then charging to that site goes on their record or their folio and could then be charged at the end of the night to the credit card they have on file with your reservation system.
