Hey, this is Tim with Bepoz point of sale systems for liquor stores. In this video, we want to talk about the capacity that Bepoz can handle multiple locations.

It’s important to know that there are not many choices in the industry for liquor sites when you start to get multiple locations. For a lot of systems, if you get one of the lighter options in the industry, you might be able to run one, two, or three liquor stores, but you’re gonna end up needing to log in to each store separately to be able to make changes. If I have to add a product, I have to add that product in each system one at a time. If I want to add employees or discounts or anything else that I want to do, I have to go to each store or log in to each store separately in order to do it.

So the important advantage for Bepoz is whether you have three stores or three hundred stores, Bepoz can allow you to centrally log in and see all of the stores with permissions. Of course, if you’re a head office employee and you’ve got lots of stores, you could then be able to log in and see everything. If you’re a regional manager over a region of stores, you could then log in to see just your region. And if you’re a store manager, you could log in to see just your store.

Also, an important note is that the way that liquor stores run many locations can vary dramatically. So some of the multi-location customers that we run have distributed management, meaning that each store is kind of self-contained and that store manager runs it the way they see fit. Other operations are very centrally managed. The head office employees basically make all the decisions for all the stores, add all the products for the stores, do all the pricing changes for all the stores, and in some cases, even do all the purchasing for all the stores.

Bepoz can handle both of those as well as a hybrid environment, where you have a little of both in which some of the responsibility still falls to the manager at the store and some responsibilities fall to the head office employees.

In either case, Bepoz can help you in these environments, and be able to give you reporting and inventory and customer loyalty, and many more features across your enterprise. Though many times what you run into when you have several locations is that your loyalty system will only run at one location all by itself. So I can’t go earn points at one location and redeem them at another.

In a multi-location environment, many of our customers would want to be able to earn at one location and redeem at another. Now, if you want to keep your stores isolated and you have to earn and redeem at the same store, we can still lock that down and that’s always possible. But it is possible to do that.

As well, not only with loyalty but with gift cards. So I could sell the gift card at one location and redeem it at another. Now that also could be locked down so you have to redeem it at the same store that you bought it if you have a multi-location environment.

3:13 Cashier Permissions

Another important point is that your cashiers may only have permission at a single store or your managers at a single store, or they may have a group of stores, like in a region or across the entire operation that they could work at because some liquor stores, they might switch those cashiers between locations. I don’t have to give them a separate login for each location as you would have to do at many systems. They could have one login and use that login at every store that they go. Or they could be locked to a specific store and that’s the only store that they could log in at.

So you start to see the power that Bepoz operates in multi-locations. Another piece that we should mention is inventory control. That Bepoz allows for inventory control across all the locations.

So you can do transfers between locations. You could do central ordering where you order to a warehouse and distribute to the stores. Or I could do distributed purchasing where it distributes directly to the store. The supplier sends directly to the store. Or I could have a hybrid environment where some products come to the warehouse and some products come directly to the store.

So, your inventory management, however you do it, could be controlled by Bepoz as well. 

4:33 Bepoz Does Reporting

The last component is tying all of that together for reporting. Every report that’s in Bepoz has the ability for you to run that report by a store location, a region, or across an enterprise. And again, that decides on your permissions. If you have the permission to see a region, you can see the region. If you can only see a store, you can only see the store. If you can see all the locations, you can see all the locations. So all reporting has that ability to filter down to a particular store, group, or enterprise.
